Zimbabwe is the country where our core operations are located. Over the last ten years thousands of Elephant Pumps have been installed in Zimbabwe, largely thanks to significant funding from AquAid. We currently manage a programme which is providing clean water to over one million people across Zimbabwe and around 40 new pumps are installed every month.

January 2011 saw the establishment of banana plantations at ten schools in Zimbabwe which enabled 500 students to pay their own fees. Children are provided with the necessary tools and materials to plant and grow their own bananas, the bananas are then exported to South Africa which generates enough income to provide the child with one year of tuition fees.
